When was the last time you hung out with 10,000 inspiring girls?
Last Friday, we spent the day at Girls Build LA's first leadership summit talking to girls from public schools around L.A. who are standing up for what they believe in and making a positive impact in their communities. We provided tees for all the girls... and it was so cool to see so many girls in Alo!
Hillary Clinton and Senator Kamala Harris spoke (and we secretly freaked out), Andy Puddicombe who's the voice of Headspace led a room full of 10,000 girls in a group meditation, and, at one point, the DJ turned the whole thing into one big dance party. We were thrilled to be a part of it, and we walked away feeling crazy inspired—by the speakers, but also all the amazing girls we met.
